All Leather - When i grow up i wanna fuck like a girl

So its like Justin Pearson from the locust fucked Atari teenage riot and All Leather is what happened. Its pretty amazing. And having a band  like the yeah yeah yeahs back you 100% doesn't hurt at all ether.  They went on tour and have done collaborations on stage a few times. Ether way, I have followed this guys career since the swing kids and pretty much everything hes been in I've been into. Hes like the Mike Patton of shitty thrash punk. anyway, check out the album and his book too. The book is "from the graveyard of the arousal industry".

The Funeral Bird - Demo/shakes babies

The funeral bird is one of those bands from philly that just fucked me up. The brake down in "vacuums Fix everything" i couldn't even understand the first time i heard it. They were the type of music that i wanted to play. They had the type of demeanor on stage that was so punk rock it was silly. They made out with dudes and spit on everyone. It was rad. They broke up way to soon but it might have been for the better. They prolly would have ended up getting the shit beat out of them in some hick town if they ever went on tour long enough to get to the mid-west. anyway, enjoy the demo and 7".

Self- Gizmodgery

Any time anyone does interesting things with ordinary crap to make music, my interest is always peeked.  So when i heard this band from my old roommate mike and found out that 90% of the recorded instruments were toy instruments i was interested. Then i found out its ONE guy. Now im in. Throw in the fact that in the track "trunk full of amps" he references, and sings like, Glen Danzig and Freddy Mercury. Need i say more? ok fine, they also cover "what a fool believes" by the Doobie Brothers. You ungrateful bastards happy now?

Pre - Epic Fits

Ok, This one is a little hard to explain. Pre is a pretty crazy, spazzy, experimental party band. Its super fun and borders on un-listenable at times. But even those parts are awesome. They are like melt banana if they hung out with daughters a little to much. Pretty rad.

William Elliot Whitmore - animals in the dark

So when i first heard this i could have sworn someone went to Louisiana, found some old as black dude sitting next to a bayou drinking whisky and singing song, recorded him without consent (cuz we all know some awesome old ass black dude would prolly be like, "I dont need no got dam mass production"),  and put out this record. Well i was wrong. Its this tattooed white guy and hes amazing. This is the newest full length, he has a bunch more. They are all good.
